| For Your Convenience: | A donor may either bring a vehicle to Maplewood Auto at 242 E 26th St, Holland, MI for inspection, or CarLink can sometimes arrange for pickup. | |

| Service Area: | CarLink can usually take vehicle donations only from about a 40 miles radius of Holland, Michigan. | |

| Tax Deductible Donation: |
CarLink is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit charity. A gift of a vehicle can be tax deductible. For each donor, CarLink will provide a letter of appreciation. However, the letter will not declare a value for the vehicle. As soon as the donated vehicle sells or is placed, a receipt will be sent to the donor stating the diposition for tax purposes. If sold, the donor will be allowed to deduct the sale price from his/her taxes. If the vehicle is placed with an eligible client family, Good Samaritan Ministries/CarLink will send a tax form to the donor. The donor will then be able to deduct the fair market value of the vehicle from his/her Federal Income taxes and is eligible for up to $100 tax credit from his/her Michigan State Income taxes. | Vehicle Title: | To receive a donation, CarLink must receive a clear title that has been signed by the person(s) who is (are) listed on the title as the owner(s). Please make sure that the title is brought to the Good Samaritan Ministries/CarLink office before the vehicle is brought in for inspection. |
